Above all things, I’m a writer. See below for my published work about the PR industry!
PR Couture Contributor
When I started my first PR internship my sophomore year of college and Googled tips on building a media list, I discovered PR Couture, a leading digital platform and industry resource for lifestyle PR professionals. Since then I’ve turned to PR Couture for career advice, and now I’ve come full circle! As a contributor, I write regular articles for the website, sharing my thoughts and experience with the PR community that continues to inspire me.
- 5 Trending Wellness Topics for Pitching Personal Care Brands (February 2019)
- 4 Reasons You Should be Pitching Data-Driven Stories for Your Lifestyle Clients (November 2018)
As part of my graduate studies, I completed a master’s thesis, which was an original study that I created and carried out from start to finish. I chose to do a text analysis of advertising and PR trade publications- I read through every issue of Ad Age, Adweek and PRWeek that was published from 2015-2017 and analyzed the articles that described agency-client relationship issues. I wanted to investigate how trade media outlets discussed agency-client issues, to better understand how the advertising/PR industry interprets the conflicts between agencies and clients.
Since I don’t want to get too into the weeds here, you will be able to access the abstract online very soon- stay tuned for an update here as I finish the release process!
